We’ve all seen paving work being done, whether in traffic waiting for the flag person to let us through, or in parking lots and driveways in our towns and neighborhoods. There are a lot of different pieces of equipment that go into making sure these jobs are done safely and efficiently. In this ongoing series, we’ll be talking to you about the different types of equipment that we use here at Von Paving. This month; Dump Trucks.
From a young age, we recognize dump trucks. In an industry filled with really cool equipment, dump trucks are seemingly the coolest, but also one of the most important. While we obviously need sweepers, and milling machines to prep a road for asphalt, we would be completely lost without a dump truck to help carry in our asphalt and carry out the debris.
